Sharp Blend

The Sharp blend profile (L4 supercircle) creates a fillet with tight knee transitions at boolean intersections. More abrupt than Round, preserving more of the original surface.

Basic Usage

  1. Add a Boolean modifier to a Chisel object
  2. Set Blend Profile to Sharp
  3. Increase Blend Radius

Characteristics

  • Supercircle (L4 norm) cross-section
  • Tight knees where the fillet meets the original surfaces
  • More controlled, mechanical appearance
  • Good for hard-surface booleans that need visible but restrained fillets

Parameters

Blend Radius

  • Range: 0.0 to 2.0 (soft max 1.0)
  • Default: 0.0
  • Effect: Width of the supercircle fillet
