Installation

This guide will help you install Chisel on your system. Chisel is a Blender addon, you need to install Blender 4.2 or newer first.

Download Blender

1. Visit the Blender official website
2. Pick Blender for your operating system
3. Download and install Blender (version 4.2+)

Download Chisel

1. Visit the Chisel on Superhive
2. Download the zip file

Installation Steps

1. Open Blender
2. Drag and drop the Chisel zip file into the Blender window
3. Save Blender Preferences after installation

First Launch

When you first launch Chisel:

1. Switch the render engine to Chisel in the Render Properties panel
2. Add your first SDF primitive via Shift+A > Chisel
3. Open the Pie Menu with Q for quick access to all tools
4. All Chisel settings are in the Object Properties and Render Properties panels
