Tight Blend

The Tight blend profile (L8 norm) creates a squared fillet with the tightest knee transitions and deepest blend of all profiles.

Basic Usage

  1. Add a Boolean modifier to a Chisel object
  2. Set Blend Profile to Tight
  3. Increase Blend Radius

Characteristics

  • Squared fillet (L8 norm) cross-section
  • Very tight, near-right-angle knees at the fillet boundary
  • Deepest blend of all profiles
  • Precision industrial appearance at boolean intersections

Parameters

Blend Radius

  • Range: 0.0 to 2.0 (soft max 1.0)
  • Default: 0.0
  • Effect: Width of the squared fillet
