Smooth Blend
The Smooth blend profile (L4 norm) creates a super-ellipse fillet with tighter knee transitions than Sphere. Uses smoothstep remapping for refined control.
Basic Usage
- Add a Boolean modifier to a Chisel object
- Set Blend Profile to Smooth
- Increase Blend Radius
Characteristics
- Super-ellipse (L4) cross-section with smoothstep remapping
- Tighter knees where the fillet meets the flat surfaces
- More controlled, mechanical appearance
- Peak displacement = radius/4
Parameters
Blend Radius
- Range: 0.0 to 2.0 (soft max 1.0)
- Default: 0.0
- Effect: Width of the super-ellipse fillet
