Soft Blend

The Soft blend profile (L3 norm) creates a gentle, C2-continuous fillet at boolean intersections. The transition is gradual and smooth, producing organic results.

Basic Usage

  1. Add a Boolean modifier to a Chisel object
  2. Set Blend Profile to Soft
  3. Increase Blend Radius

Characteristics

  • L3 norm cross-section with C2 continuity
  • Gentle, gradual transition at the fillet boundary
  • Organic, fluid appearance
  • Good for sculpted or natural-looking boolean operations

Parameters

Blend Radius

  • Range: 0.0 to 2.0 (soft max 1.0)
  • Default: 0.0
  • Effect: Width of the soft fillet
