Sphere Blend

The Sphere blend profile (L2 norm) creates a circular fillet at boolean intersections. This is the default blend type.

Basic Usage

  1. Add a Boolean modifier to a Chisel object
  2. Set Blend Profile to Sphere
  3. Increase Blend Radius to see the smooth fillet

Characteristics

  • Perfectly circular fillet cross-section
  • Natural, organic-looking transitions
  • Even material distribution across the blend zone
  • Best for general-purpose smooth booleans

Parameters

Blend Radius

  • Range: 0.0 to 2.0 (soft max 1.0)
  • Default: 0.0
  • Effect: Width of the circular fillet
