Chamfer Profile

The Chamfer profile creates a flat 45-degree bevel on primitive edges. Based on the L1 (Manhattan) distance norm.

Basic Usage

  1. Select a Chisel object that supports rounding
  2. In the Object Properties panel, set Profile to Chamfer
  3. Increase the Rounding value for the chamfer width

Characteristics

  • Flat 45-degree bevel at edges
  • Sharp, geometric appearance
  • Corner geometry forms triangular facets
  • Classic machined chamfer look

Parameters

Rounding

  • Range: 0.0 to 10.0 (soft max 2.0)
  • Default: 0.0
  • Effect: Width of the flat chamfer
