Tight Profile

The Tight profile uses an L8 norm for a squared fillet with the tightest knee transitions of all profiles. The blending concentrates very sharply at the edges, approaching a right-angle before rounding.

Basic Usage

  1. Select a Chisel object that supports rounding
  2. In the Object Properties panel, set Profile to Tight
  3. Increase the Rounding value

Characteristics

  • Squared fillet (L8 norm) cross-section
  • Very tight, near-right-angle knees where the fillet meets the flat surfaces
  • Deepest blend of all profiles
  • Precision industrial appearance

Parameters

Rounding

  • Range: 0.0 to 10.0 (soft max 2.0)
  • Default: 0.0
  • Effect: Radius of the squared fillet
